Fiesta Bowl 2010

Electrical Wholesale sent a few of their customers to the Fiesta Bowl this year. We were lucky enough to tag along! It was a quick trip (down and back in a little over 24 hours). We enjoyed Bronco fan's, Arizona's weather, a great game, quick flight, and good company! Thanks to EWS, faithful customers, and those Broncos!

Has it really been that long?

Avery's birthdays remind us how many years we've lived in Boise. She'll be 5 tomorrow! Her arrival was by far the greatest Christmas gift that year! She was my smallest at birth (7lbs. 12 oz.) She looks a lot like her dad, but with a lot more hair! Funny, we didn't think her hair would EVER grow! A few things about Avery:
1. she tells great stories
2. she loves gum
3. she doesn't like to wear socks
4. she makes the rules! (at least lives by her own set of them....sigh)
5. the position of her bottom lip tells ALL!
6. she loves cheese pizza & bagels w/ cream cheese
7. she loves Dad's 'squishy' hugs

We love you Avery! Have a happy day!

Over The Weekend

McCall is one of our favorite places to visit because:

  1. we can be there in just a few hours

  2. our time share feels like our own little 'cabin' in the mountains

  3. we're always there together

  4. an indoor pool, table tennis, pool table, and exercise room

  5. beautiful walks

  6. and very happy children!

We had a great time over the weekend!

Easter Fun

Three Piggy Opera

Ashley's kindergarten class performed the Three Piggy Opera in March. Ashley practiced daily for a month! We enjoyed listening to her sing each adorable song over and over! If you were so lucky to be around her during the month, she would sing the entire opera just for you! Ashley played the Mother Pig and had a solo part in the performance. It was DARLING! A very PROUD parent moment! I miss her Piggy seranades, home and abroad. Sometimes I ask her to sing the story for me again. She still remembers every word!

Happy Birthday Ashley!

Saturday was Ashley's 6th birthday. Grandma & Grandpa Jepson, Allie, Dallin, Aunt Karrie, Uncle Stan, and Gunner were here to celebrate with us. Ashley thought party time would NEVER arrive! She had a tough time enjoying the day until gifts were open and the cake was cut! Life is rough huh? Ashley baked and decorated her own cake. It was her first decorating lesson (with frosting tips, piping bags, and everything). She did great! Her meal of choice: mashed potatoes and gravy, kidney beans, and lemonade. (We cooked a roast as well--just because) Ashley is a beautiful girl inside and out! She is a peacemaker, has a great singing voice, dance moves, and is very artistic and creative. She keeps us entertained! So glad she joined our family six years ago!
