Steven's birthdate is an easy one to remember 2-20-2000. Ashley's would have been just as cool if I hadn't been so impatient! Her delivery was scheduled on a Monday morning which would have been 3-3-03. Cool huh? (At the time I hadn't noticed such details) But when my doctor told me that Friday morning was available, I snatched it up! I'm sure many of you can relate--the last few days of pregnancy feel like weeks, and a few days early sounded wonderful! Her birthday is February 28th, 2003. Still a wonderful day. As you can see, we are celebrating two birthdays this month. Steven was nine on Friday, and Ashley will be six come Saturday. Sometimes I can't believe I've been a mother that long! It's hard to remember what life was like before children. They are all little miracles. The very best days of my life are the days each of my children were born.

Funny that you bring up the date thing. I had NEVER thought about dates before, until I had kids. I wanted Cora to be born on 06-05-04, but she was born on 06-19-04. Seems silly that I had even hoped to simplify her birthday, but I think it was more for my hubby and for myself than for my kids! Anyway, Happy Birthday Steven and Ashley!
